The King KY-196E is a version of the KY-196 designed for European use, with more precise receiver selectivity. (It works just as well in the U.S.) Like the "regular" KY-196, the KY-196E is capable of tuning 720 COMM channels.
The KY-196E features:
- Bright and easy-to-read gas discharge display
- Simultaneous digital display of both active and standby frequencies
- Push button frequency flip-flop
- 16 watts transmit power
- TSO'd
