The King KY-196 is a popular King COMM, designed for aircraft with 28 volt electrical systems. The KY-196 is capable of tuning 720 COMM channels. It uses the standard bright and easy-to-read King gas discharge display.
The KY-196 also features:
- Simultaneous digital display of both active and standby frequencies
- Push button frequency flip-flop
- 16 watts transmit power
- TSO'd
